I love Valentines Day

When I was a little girl my mom would magically make the most beautiful and delicious heart shaped sugar cookies appear along with some wonderfully girlie presents. Since there are more boys than girls in my current family I've gotten lazy. out baby...I'm inspired. Go here to see why and then you're gonna want some of this too....Let me know what your favorite pattern was...It was a hard choice by I finally choose Andalucai Kiwi Flowery Stripe. Guess I better go dust off my sewing machine...think my sons would mind valentine aprons?

Day 19: Aprons that make me happy

This first apron was inspired by the main fabric...which was a place mat. I love Tuesday Morning. I made it into a craft apron because I loved it's weight and structure. It will be great for holding tools, supplies etc.

This apron was inspired by a remnant fabric and an old jean skirt that I loved but is now too big to wear. My sister shared the pattern with me. I even made the bias tape out of the skirt. It makes me happy to put it on.
