Day 21: New Blog on the block you've GOTTA check out!

Somehow E and I found Pink Christmas. Mark your calendar...you want to play next year. Anyway, in my wonderful pink envelope I received many, many goodies from sponsors, but one caught my eye....a simple brown wax bag with a list of ideas for using it (sorry no pic...I'm lazy today.) So, while my boys watch their Phillies in the first game of the World Series I thought I'd grab my laptop, sit with them, and go blog visiting...an hour later I've only gotten to one...it was so good I had to email a friend, read every post, and now write a post of my own about it...so go already :D www.2cleaverblog.com. I just had to share my latest treasure. A dear yaya gave me a black garbage bag full of fabric and these.....Now I just need inspiration. Please share any ideas, links, blogs, etc!

Day 19: Aprons that make me happy

This first apron was inspired by the main fabric...which was a place mat. I love Tuesday Morning. I made it into a craft apron because I loved it's weight and structure. It will be great for holding tools, supplies etc.



This apron was inspired by a remnant fabric and an old jean skirt that I loved but is now too big to wear. My sister shared the pattern with me. I even made the bias tape out of the skirt. It makes me happy to put it on.
